We love training our dogs whether they be our Siberians or our Pointer crosses, each have their own endearing qualities. The thrill that Adrian experiences running our hounds certainly outweighs the hard work that it takes to harness them and actually get them running! Many early mornings have seen us tussling with them on the stake out, seen two of us rugby tackling a manic Pointer to the ground to try and get a leg through a harness it certainly warms us up on a cold frosty morning. We would never be without these super little doggies, but we have had to make a decision with regard to Adrian's teams during the race season.
2011/12 will see Adrian once again concentrating on his Siberian teams where he will have a 4-dog, 3-Dog & 2-Dog team, but we also have our yearlings who we hope to have running on the back of a slower but reliable front end in the 6-dog class. The majority of our older dogs are now retiring from competive work, we will continue to train them whilst they are enjoying it. This leaves us with less experienced dogs for Lynn to run so she will not be running Siberian classes.
Our web site has been updated to reflect these changes, we want to concentrate on our siberians and therefore want our website to centre on these fabulous dogs.
Just in case anyone thinks before asking.....we still have our hounds and they will be training just as much as our Siberians, it is just our website that has changed!
Any puppies that we have bred have always left our home/kennel with both Kennel Club restrictions (ie Breeding & export) but we have been willing to lift these where appropriate. We have recently made the decision that from October 2011 we will only ever lift breeding restrictions on very, very rare & exceptional occasions regardless of Hip/Eye scores, confirmation, temperament & working ability of the dog.
