Layla is our 'grot bag', a noisy, grumpy old girl. She lives with kooki and Whitey and is a real little madam when she wants to be. Yet in the next second she will be a sweetie and you could imagine butter would not melt in her mouth! It's only in the last year or so that we suddenly realised that she should have had a litter..... but it was too late when we made the decision! Thanks must go to Pete Carroll for producing this rather larger than life character and of course not forgetting Charlie & Jo who were clever enough to realise that she was going to be a real nightmare!

Layla has run on every conceivable team you could imagine from 2-dog sibe teams through to 6-dog Hound teams, she can cope with anything thrown at her and is another brilliant oldie for teaching the youngsters with. She taught Emma such a lot in the 2-dog junior class and may even still run with her this year in the adult classes?
